Michelle Renae (Huckelby) Siddons, 43, of Ferdinand, passed away on Saturday, May 24th at Serenity Springs Senior Living Center in Jasper. She was born to Michael and Beverly Huckelby on December 13, 1981 in Franklin, IN. Michelle was born a fighter from day one. She overcame so many battles in her short life. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, bright blue eyes and her ability to take you out at the heels with her wheelchair. Michelle was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, River and Beverly Phoenix; her sister, Staci Mundy; maternal grandparents, Charles and Patricia Watson; her paternal grandparents, Ervin and Phyllis Huckelby; and her cousin, Danny Barnett. She is survived by her father, Michael Huckelby and step-mother, Christi Mundy; three sisters, Jamie Burdorf, Angela Hayes and Cassandra Foster; one brother, Joshua Mundy; eleven nieces and nephews; two aunts, four uncles and many cousins. Her ex-husband, David Siddons, who always held a special place in her heart as she did in his also survives. Michelle's wishes were to be cremated and have a celebration of life with those who loved her at a later date. Donations may be made to the family to cover funeral cost.
