Michelle "Meshy" Lee Urai, age 37 of Otsego, MN, passed away on August 22, 2024. Her vibrant presence and zest for life touched everyone she encountered, leaving behind a legacy of joy, adventure, and compassion.
Michelle was born the daughter of Larry & Janet (Anderson) Urai on February 4, 1987 in Robbinsdale, MN.
Michelle's passion for exploring the world was evident in her travels to places such as Australia, Germany, New Zealand, and numerous other places where she embraced diverse cultures and landscapes with enthusiasm. Her love for the outdoors was equally profound, as she found great joy in fishing, camping, and hunting, particularly cherishing the time spent deer hunting with her father. This love for the outdoors was also shown in the work she put in to save the Becker Big Woods, so that it could be enjoyed for generations to come.
At home, Michelle created a beloved sanctuary centered around a fire pit she built herself, where many cherished memories were made with family and friends. She also delighted in annual trips to Valley Fair, where she embraced every ride alongside her niece and nephew. Michelle also enjoyed many lively outings to wineries with her girlfriends.
As a dedicated emergency room registered nurse at North Memorial Medical Center and Maple Grove Hospital, Michelle's compassion and expertise provided comfort and care to countless patients in their times of need. Her kindness and professional dedication were a testament to her unwavering commitment to helping others.
She is survived by her parents, Larry & Janet (Anderson) Urai of St. Michael, MN; sister, Jackie (Tim) Graham of Detroit Lakes, MN; niece & nephew, Ella & William Graham; also countless other family and friends.
Michelle is preceded in death by grandparents, Paul & Louise Anderson and Leo & Clarita Urai; also her puppy, Jake
