Eva Urai

Eva Urai, 91-year-old resident of Little Falls, MN, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls.

Funeral Service held at 11 AM on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls with visitation starting at 10 AM. Burial at Oakland Cemetery in Little Falls. Caring for Eva and her family is the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, MN.

Eva Gronka was born on February 18, 1932 in Little Falls, MN, to the late Michael and Ellen (Magneson) Gronka. She attended Little Falls elementary and high schools. Eva worked in housekeeping and also at Munsingwear in Little Falls. She was united in marriage to Reinhard Urai and they settled in Little Falls. Eva went to work at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls doing housekeeping and also as an activity director for the residents. She worked there from 1973 until retiring in 1994. Eva enjoyed flower gardening and arranging. She was very artistic doing painting and crafts. Eva enjoyed going to garage sales, and loved the family gatherings. She was a member of the Little Falls V.F.W. Post #1112 Auxiliary.

Eva is survived by her son, Joseph Urai of Little Falls; daughters, Barb Ringwelski of Little Falls and Betty Dommer of Gilman, IA; sister, Mable Hanson of Shirley, MA; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Ellen Gronka; husband, Reinhard Urai; son, Michael Urai; daughter, Mary Kuchinski; grandson, Brian Ringwelski; great-grandson, Joshua Theel; sisters, Victoria Davis, Hulda Johnson and Mary Hanson.
