Micky Shufflebarger Obituary
1935-2023
Micky Shufflebarger, 87, of Grayson, KY passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2023, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, WV. He was born July 16, 1935, in Hueysville, KY; a son of the late Henry and Goldie Mae Parsons Shufflebarger.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Marcella Baker Shufflebarger; three brothers, Frank, H.A. and Dr. Harold Shufflebarger; two sisters, Eugyle Martin, and Betty Bergman.
He was of the Baptist faith. He was a retired pharmaceutical sales representative for Merck Pharmaceuticals. He proudly served his country with the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his best friend, Vicki Bear of Olive Hill, KY; a sister, Phyllis Richardson of Clarksburg, WV; two nephews, Bill Martin of McDowell, KY, and Eric (Deirdre) Shufflebarger of Grayson, KY; a niece, Alicia (Richard) Gire of Walton, KY; two brothers-in-law, Virgil (Ruth Ann) Baker of Olive Hill, KY and Danny Bare of Olive Hill, KY.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the East Carter County Memory Gardens in Grayson, KY.
Arrangements by the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, KY.
