Mike was a dedicated and hard-working police officer and tough as nails. I had the privilege of working with him for six months when I was a new detective in Narcotics. He was kind, patient and very skilled. Even the bad guys liked him. May he be in Heaven now pulling outrageous pranks on Steve Metros and telling all the other angels that he never owned shoes until he left for the USAF.

Miguel was a close friend. Good cop, and outstanding sense of humor. He nicknamed me Jughead, and it has stuck with the remainder of my life. He even had a judge calling me that name. God Bless You Mike. RIP.
