Miguel was a devoted husband, father, and brother, known for his quiet strength, kind heart, and deep commitment to his family. He was married to Paola Ortiz, who remains by his side as a loving and supportive partner.
He is survived by his wife, Paola Ortiz, and their sons: Miguel Ortiz, Oliver Ortiz, and Angel Ortiz (Kaitlyn), all of Victoria, TX. He is also survived by his sisters: Trinidad Ortiz (Juan), Mariester Ortiz, and Guadalupe Ortiz; and his brothers: Jose Luis Ortiz, Avel Ortiz, Juan Ortiz, and Salvador Ortiz, all of Mexico.
Miguel is preceded in death by his parents, Hospicio Ortiz and Catlina Cortez, as well as his sisters, Eva Ortiz and Lucha Ortiz.
He will be remembered for the love he had for his family, his strong faith, and his dependable nature. Miguel's legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m.
