Miguel "Mike" Sanchez

Miguel “Mike” Sanchez, 87, of Houston, TX., was born on September 16, 1936, and passed away on March 26, 2024, surrounded by his family.   

        A viewing will be held in the chapel of E.P. Compean Funeral Directors on Thurs., April 4, 2024, from 10:00am to 12:30pm with a rosary being prayed at 11:00am.

        Miguel is preceded in death by his parents Feliciano and Marcelina Sanchez; son, Mark Sanchez; sister, Lucia Sanchez. 

        He leaves behind his loving wife of 63 years, Ernestina Sanchez; his son, Mike Sanchez and his wife Annette; his daughter, Deena Sanchez-Newton and her husband Demetrion; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; his brothers, Santos Sanchez, Israel Santos and Martin Sanchez; his sisters, Bennie Smith and Rosie Lunar; along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other loved ones.

Miguel loved to hunt, fish and was a diehard Houston Astros fan, all in which he passed to his children and grandchildren. He was a hard worker who would always ensure his family had the best life. Through all the ups and downs life handed him, he would go through each day with a smile on his face. His smile will be missed by all!
