Mika (Margie) Creasia, 97, of Puyallup passed away peacefully at her daughter's home July 25th, 2025. Born March 3rd, 1928 in Tsukaba, Japan, Mika was the fourth of seven children. Mika was raised on a family farm in Tsukaba and after WWII met her husband Luigi Joseph Creasia in Tokyo. Mika moved from state to state and country to country while being the wife of a soldier. She raised a family of six children while working part time and together with her husband insisted the children be confirmed in the Catholic Church. The family attended Our Lady Queen of Heaven in Tacoma, WA. Mika promoted a strong sense of family to her children. Mika's enduring work ethic, sound guidance, many sacrifices, and dedication of love and caring for her family are a natural part of her legacy. She loved her husband of 65 years with his passing in 2016. Mika enjoyed cooking, knitting, gardening, playing cards and games, spending time with her grandchildren, and especially being with family to celebrate life. She is survived by her children: Janet, Frank, Ed, David, Betty, and Tom; her son-in-law, Scott; as well as 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Condolences in lieu of flowers may be directed toward the American Heart Association.
