Mike was born in Pensacola, Florida, on October 8, 1960, the eldest of three children, born to Ron and Donna (Klumpe) Andrijeski. He received his education from Holdrege Public School and graduated from Holdrege High School, with the class of 1979. On April 25, 1992, Mike was united in marriage to Jenay Meester at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Elm Creek, and to this union, one son was born, Steven. The couple made their home in Oxford, where Mike worked as a truck driver for Cargill for five years.

Mike enjoyed drag racing his car and watching all kinds of sports, especially Nebraska Football. Mike could usually be found tinkering in his garage.

Mike is survived by his wife, Jenay Andrijeski of Oxford; one son, Steven Andrijeski of Holdrege; his stepmother, Phyl Andrijeski of Holdrege; one brother, Mark Andrijeski and wife, Carla of Holdrege; one sister, Tami Mues and husband, Darren of Holdrege; mother-in-law, Judy Meester of Holdrege; two sisters-in-law: Corinne Gebel and her husband, Gary of Wilcox, Nebraska; and Chris Layton and her husband, Jeff of McCook, Nebraska; step-sister, Lori Doellman and husband, Steve from Bloomington, Illinois, and their three boys: Justin, Drew, and Bradley; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
