Mike Greiner Obituary
A Funeral Mass for Mike Greiner, age 57 of Milford, will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milford. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Milford. Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 PM, Monday, April 21, at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford.
Michael Lindsay Greiner, the son of Peter and Margo (McCaffery) Greiner, was born June 10, 1967, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He graduated from Lisbon High School.
On April 25, 1987, Mike was married to Leann Greiner in Mount Vernon, Iowa. They lived in Iowa City and Cherokee before moving to Milford in 2004. Mike worked as the service manager at Great Lakes Marine.
Mike enjoyed the outdoors and could be found fishing, grilling, golfing, hunting, camping, or playing slow pitch softball. He was a fan of the Packers, Cubs, and Hawkeyes and never missed a chance to cheer them on. Mike also enjoyed trying out new breweries, eating ice cream, reading fantasy books, or cooking meals for his family. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandkids.
Mike passed away April 13, 2025, at Ava’s House in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, at fifty-seven years of age.
He is survived by his wife, Leann Greiner, daughter, Jess Greiner, sons, Sean Greiner and Ryan Greiner, brothers, Rick Greiner and Troy Greiner, and grandchildren, Treyton, Kallen, William, and Skylar.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Margo.
