Mike was a very kind soul who cared about everyone he met. He will be deeply missed. Please pray for Mrs and Mr. Malanda. I can´t imagine what you guys are going through.

Mike's personality was bigger than any room he set foot in. I won´t forget the last time I saw him when I subbed for his class. Mike was able to "pretend cry" real tears with very little effort! He had me going for a moment until he started laughing, then the group of us standing there all had to laugh along with him.
I will remember the way that Mike leaned over from the second floor of the mall down to the lower level and yelled my name out earlier this year just to say hi. I think of how he saw me at Metro Diner one day and surprised me with a big hug. These small gestures are rare and special coming from a middle school boy.
I will remember Mike in these ways, always with fondness. Blessings to your family, especially in the very difficult days to come.

So sorry for your loss. There´s nothing that I can say that will heal your heart. I am Maxton Davis`s grandmother and he talked about Mike all the time and he truly loved his friend Mike. I would always ask him when I picked him up from school, how is Mike doing. I felt like I knew him only met him a couple times at school a very respectful young man I am just so so sorry, you´re in my prayers
