Susan Lapasnick

Susan "Sue" Lapasnick, 76, of Huntersville died September 6, 2025. She was born on April 17, 1949 in Wilmington, Delaware to the late Andrew James Lapasnick, Jr. and Virginia Richardson Lapasnick. Sue worked as a physical education teacher for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. She is survived by her long-time friend Bridget Miller; brother, Craig Lapasnick of Cole Ridge, NC; nieces, Sheri Hill and Stacy Solomon; nephews, Jacob Lapasnick and 6 great-nephews and nieces. Her brother Lukey preceded her in death. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Memorial Giving 501 St. Jude’s Place Memphis, TN 38105 The funeral service will be held at 3 PM Friday, September 12 at James Funeral Home. Visitation will be 2-3 PM prior. Burial will follow at Northlake Memorial Gardens. James Funeral Home of Huntersville is serving the family.
