Jadon Thomas Lapasnick

A Taylorsville resident, Mr. Jadon "Jay" Thomas Lapasnick, age 21, passed away Friday, October 31, 2025 at University of Louisville Hospital. He was born February 1, 2004 in Lexington to Jennifer Lynn Osten and William Jacob Lapasnick. Jadon was a construction worker and member of Edgewood Baptist Church in Nicholasville. He loved baseball, making music and liked to tattoo. He enjoyed camping with his mom, riding horses and four wheelers and hunting. Jadon also loved and adored his nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Earl and Barbara Osten. He is survived by his wife, Chyenne Smith Lapasnick, his mother, Jennifer Lapasnick of Wilmore, his father, Bill (Angela) Lapasnick of Florence, his sister, Faith Addison (Chance) Hempy of Youngsville, 2 nephews, Casimir and Caspian, and a friend that was like a brother, Dustyn Stone. Jadon's family respectfully chose cremation. The Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
