Frances Laurita Aubrey

A Taylorsville resident, Mrs. Frances Laurita Aubrey, age 83, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at her residence. She was born June 11, 1942 in Louisville to the late James Howard and Novella Riggs Milby. Laurita retired from The Peoples Bank where she was a teller for 21 years. She enjoyed flower gardening and embroidery. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jane Crouch and a brother, Kenny Milby. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Floyd "Bill" Aubrey, her daughter, Beth (David) Merideth of Taylorsville, her son, Scott (Lynn) Aubrey of Frankfort, 2 grandchildren, Taylor (Aaron) Cunningham and Ryan Aubrey, 2 great grandchildren, Aly and Zoe Cunningham, and 5 siblings, James Howard (Jan) Milby Jr. of Taylorsville, Michael Milby of Louisville, Pat Milby of Muldraugh, Janet Sue (Joe) Dooley of Gilbertsville and Joe (Marilyn) Milby of Shepherdsville. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Laurita Aubrey will be 10:00 am Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at the Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home in Taylorsville. Interment will be in Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00-8:00 pm and Tuesday after 9:00 am until time of the funeral service. The Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
