Visitation for Mike Osborne will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home, located at 512 N Ridgeway Dr, Cleburne, TX, 76033. A funeral service will take place Friday, March 7, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel, also at 512 N. Ridgeway, Cleburne, TX, 76033.Burial will follow at Brazos Point Cemetery in Brazos Point, Texas
Mike Osborne, a dedicated heavy equipment operator with an illustrious career spanning 48 years, passed away on March 4, 2025, at the age of 85 in Keene, Texas. Born on March 14, 1939, in Brazos Point, Texas, Mike was known for his remarkable work ethic and commitment to his family and community.
Throughout his life, Mike was not only devoted to his profession but also to his passions outside of work. A member of Vine Life Tabernacle in Glen Rose, he found immense joy in his faith and the fellowship it provided. When not operating heavy machinery, Mike embraced a life filled with building and creation. He was an avid farmer and gardener, often spending his days raising cows.
Mike is survived by his beloved wife, Ruth Ann Phillips Osborne his son, Danny Osborne, and wife Mary; his daughter, Loretta Scott, and husband Danny, grandsons, Michael Scott and wife Danielle, Taylor Scott and wife Amanda, Chris Mosteiro and wife Amanda, and granddaughter, Courtney Hill and husband Adam, his great-grandchildren, Mason Scott, Levi Scott, Harper Scott, Jaden Nebel, Avery Hill, and Marcus Hill, all of whom brought him immense joy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin "Shorty" and Ella Lee Hudson Osborne; his sister, Betty Lee Treece; and his brother, Pat Osborne.
Mike Osborne's legacy of hard work, faith, and love for his family will be cherished by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones and in the stories shared about his life.
