Mike Townsend Obituary
Thomas Michael Townsend, 59, of Camden, TN passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023 at his residence. Mr. Townsend was born on September 26, 1963 in Benton County TN to the late James “Jimmy” Townsend and the late Naomi “June” Townsend. He was also preceded by a daughter Stephanie Townsend and a brother Billy Townsend. Mr. Townsend was employed by the City of Camden as the Codes Officer. He was a member of the Flatwoods United Methodist Church and the Magic Valley Saddle Club, participating in the Mounted Search & Rescue Team.

Sons: Josh (Jessica) Townsend of Jackson, TN
Michael (Pam) Theewis of Jackson, TN
Daughters: Shawnda (Jason) Hicks of Holladay, TN
Avery (Jesse) Scharlow of New Albany, IN
Grandchildren: Kiley (Tyler) Baker, Dakota Hicks, Hailey Hicks, Adelyn Belisle, Jett Scharlow, Hunter Townsend, Blake Leslie, Jack Taylor
Great Grandchildren: River and Navy
Aunt: Reba Wright of Paris, TN
Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 5:00-8:00 pm and again on Friday, March 3, 2023 from 9:00-11:00 am at Oakdale Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 11 AM at Oakdale Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Matthew Greer and Bro. Steve Townsend officiating. Burial will follow in Flatwoods Cemetery.
