Miladi Asuncion Fletcher

Miladi Asuncion Fletcher, 83, of Chester, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023. Born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico on August 15, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Pedro Nunez and Carmen Morales. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Adolph Mannin; her second husband, Charles Lee Fletcher; and brother, Manuel Nunez. Miladi was a longtime dedicated member of the Jehovah’s Wittnesses. She is survived by her children, Jack A. Mannin, Jr. (Mary Ellen), Curtis R. Mannin (Deborah), and Monica Thompson; grandchildren, Tiffany Hall (D.J. Johnson), Julie Mannin (Scooter Goodson), John Mannin, Ashley Berkeley, Kelsie Thompson, and Lee Thompson; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Madison, and Brooklyn Hall, Mia and Elijah Goodson, and Joshua and Zachary Gelina; and a brother, Orlando Nunez (Birito).

A funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 7, 2023, at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
