Milagros Cruz

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Milagros Cruz, who was also known as Milly by family and friends. She was born on 02/01/1971 and passed away on 07/27/2025 at the age of 54. She moved to Manhattan, New York at an early age, where she was brought up and raised.
We want to always remember her for her sweet spirit and contagious laugh. Milly always had a special love for children, and she got to live her dream of becoming a teacher after earning her bachelor's in early childhood education. She was a teacher for two years until she unfortunately got sick and had to leave her job shortly after. We want to always remember her as she was a very kind beautiful person with a heart of gold, who always loved god and had great faith.
We will be remembering and honoring her on Monday, August 4, 2025, at De Riso Funeral Home, located in Brooklyn at 5012 4th Ave, Brooklyn NY 11220. The visitation will be from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
The following day, Tuesday, August 5, 2025, will her burial. She will be laid to rest at Rosedale Cemetery at 11:30 am
She leaves behind her mother, Ramona Pacheco; brother, Jose M. Cruz; sister, Ivette Guzman; three nieces, Ariella Z. Lopez, Khrystal M. Cruz, Layla S. Guzman; and two nephews, Jose N. Guzman, and Joel I. Guzman.
It's not a goodbye, rather just say, we will see you again one day. We love you so much and you will be truly missed. We will continue to remember you and honor your name.
