Mildred was a beacon of kindness, generosity, and selflessness. Her wit brought laughter to those around her, and her compassion made everyone feel valued and loved. She understood the importance of simply showing up for the people she cared about, and she did so for everyone she could. She loved her family and friends, but there was nothing like her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. It was impossible not to want to be near her, as she had a way of making everyone feel cherished and important. Her life was a testament to love, warmth, and unwavering support for her family and friends.

Mildred is survived by her husband, Moise Joseph Babineaux; one son, Jason Babineaux (Jamie); two daughters, Delanna Roth (Jason), Chasity Newsom (Scott); two brothers, Douglas Cormier (Judy), Michael Cormier (Lanell); two sisters, Debbie Guillory (Joe), Jackie Gotreaux (Vince); son-in-law, Gary Ardoin; six grandchildren, Jack Ardoin (Ashley), Tyler Ardoin, Thomas Ardoin (Alma), Eleanor Menard, Audrey Menard, Samuel Newsom; two great-grandchildren, Hudson Ardoin and Hollyn Dawn Ardoin.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Katina Dawn Ardoin; her parents, Louis Curley Cormier and Lucille Thibodeaux Cormier.
