Church Point, LA: Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, October 23, 2025 at St. Edward Catholic Church in Richard, LA for Connie Ann Babineaux, 65. Ms. Babineaux, a native and resident of Acadia Parish near Richard, LA, died Monday morning, October 20 at her residence. Visitation will be held at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, LA, from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM on Wednesday, October 22 and continue from 9:00 AM Thursday until the time of Services. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM Wednesday by Deacon Byrne Winn. Interment will be in the St. Edward Cemetery adjacent to the Church. Pallbearers will be Steve, Blackie, Jake, T-John, Chad and Anthony Babineaux and Kevin Bergeron; readers will be her Godchild, Niki Cormier and Kaylee Babineaux.

Survivors include her mother, Rita Prather Babineaux of Richard; her sisters, Sara Venable and Patsy Bergeron and husband Kevin-all of Richard; her brothers, Steve Babineaux and wife Janice and Lawrence "Blackie" Babineaux and wife Faye-all of Eunice, LA; a sister-in-law, Debra Lavergne Babineaux of Richard and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Preston Babineaux; a brother, John Babineaux; a niece, Haddie Babineaux; her stepfather, Apton Guidry and a brother-in-law, Dean Venable.

An employee of Wal-Mart for a number of years; Ms. Babineaux was a loving daughter, sibling and aunt. Truly loved, she will be missed by all who knew her.
