On the morning of October 10th, 2022 Mildred Belich Mroz (Micki) passed away in her beloved home, the Georgia Lee Farm, in the Town of Delafield, at the age of 88.
Preceded in death by Daughter Georgia Lee Mroz, Father Eli Belich Sr. and Mother Mary Belich.
She is survived by and forever remembered by Brother Eli (Amanda) Belich Jr., Son Joseph (Ginger) Mroz, Daughters Meribeth Lloyd and Joanne Foltz. Forever adored by her Grandchildren Ian (Kellie) Foltz, Adam Foltz, Ellena Mroz and Alex (Mandy) Long. Forever loved by Great Grandchildren Elijah Foltz, Summer Long, Justus Taylor and Eli Bencivenga.
Born on May 14th 1934, Micki was a true role model for us all. She taught us strength, independence and a path forward to achieve success. With only a High School Diploma, she quickly climbed the corporate ladder and was well respected as the Finance Manager for Kohl's Corporate until her retirement in 2000. However retirement never slowed her down. She continued to prove that "hard work is the seed from which all good things grow."
Living and working on the farm since 1956, she raised a family and ran a farm with a passion we all admired. She showed compassion for all her animals, but her true love was her horses. As an accomplished Equestrian, she successfully competed in horseback riding for many years. Micki took great pride in her horse auctions at the Bel-Roz Farm which has remained unrivaled and has never been forgotten for generations.
She shared all of her accomplishments with us. There was no hill she wouldn't climb, especially a ski hill. Growing up in West Allis, she joined Nathan Hale's Ski team back in the 1950's and continued skiing for decades to come, even teaching her grandsons in her mid 60's not only how to ski but how to move mountains.
Micki's truest accomplishment and her greatest gift to us all is Family. Raising her children she proved to be a true Matriarch, showering us with warmth, love and laughter. She taught us forgiveness, determination and acceptance and that against all adversity and hard times, the ability to overcome, rebuild, and find strength within ourselves. Micki found an internal strength in all of us, and as a true Beacon, made every one of us shine. She taught us the true value of tradition and the importance of celebrating our heritage. She always shined celebrating Serbian Christmas, making Sarma and Pita, but most importantly teaching us that being surrounded by Family is a true gift.
As Autumn turns to winter, we will forever be comforted by your warm embrace, and as spring turns to summer, you will forever be the sun upon our face.
There will be a private family gathering, a celebration of life (which will never be forgotten). Details will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to HAWS of Waukesha County (Humane Animal Welfare Society) in honor of her love of all animals in need.

Fond memory of baseball game we went to in Cortez, Colorado around 1955. We had to walk from Uncle Eli Rajsich's house to the ball game and it was pitch black, we could hardly see our feet. I walked to the game in my new cowboy boots that Uncle Eli bought for me.
