Mildred was born on April 14, 1930, in Galax, Virginia to Robert Andrew Jennings and Grace Reavis. She Married William Edgar Blankenship Sr., on August 22, 1959, in Roanoke, Virginia. She worked as an OBGYN nurse at Cannon Airforce Base in Clovis, New Mexico. Mildred was the fabric mart business owner and was a member of Kingswood Methodist Church.
Mildred is survived by her daughter; Rebecca "Becky" Sullivan (Dan) of Clovis, NM, four grandchildren; Jason Blankenship (Jackie) of Amarillo, TX, Ryan Shober (Gianna) of Henderson, NV, Brad Shober of Austin, TX, Brynn Blankenship of Clovis, NM, seven great-grandchildren; Kayden Shober, Cruz Shober, Cash Shober, Colt Shober, Havanna Shober, Emma Blankenship, and Evan Blankenship.
She was preceded in death by her husband; William Edgar Blankenship Sr., son; William Edgar Blankenship Jr., parents; Robert Andrew Jennings, Grace Reavis, and brother; James Jennings.
