Mildred W. Braun

Mildred W. (Millie) Braun, age 93, passed away peacefully May 16, 2023. Millie was born in Bay City, MI October 8, 1929 to the late Emil and Laura (Moldenhauer) Wegener. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she was a choir member. She retired from Mutual Savings and Loan where she was a loan officer.
On November 27, 1965, she married Raymond H. Braun. She is survived by her brother Eldor Wegener, nieces and nephews: Susan (Mike) Halm, Steven (Sherry) Wegener, Paul (Jodi) Wegener, Trina (Tobin) VanPelt and Sam Harrison. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond; a sister and brother-in-law Lyla (Donald) Wackerly; sister-in-law Gertrude Wegener and niece Sandy Harrison.
Funeral and committal service will be Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 12 noon at Immanuel Lutheran Church. The Rev. Kevin C. Jones will officiate. Private burial will be at Floral Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church. She will lie in state at the Church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the service begins.
