Fredrick "Fred" L. Goodrow III, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on September 24, 2025. Born on January 9, 1953, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Fredric II and Donna (Luplow) Goodrow, Fred's life was marked by his infectious humor, friendly demeanor, and remarkable handiness.

Fred grew up in Saginaw, where he attended Arthur Hill High School, graduating with the class of 1972. His early years in Saginaw laid the foundation for a lifetime of hard work and dedication. Fred's career spanned several trucking companies in Saginaw before he moved to AuGres in the 1980s. He eventually retired from Bilacic Trucking, but not one to sit still, he continued to work at Huron Breeze Golf Course, where he could indulge in his passion for golf.

On August 26, 2006, Fred married the love of his life, Natalia "Nancy" Gonzales, in a beautiful outdoor ceremony in AuGres. Together, they created a blended family filled with love and laughter. Fred was a devoted father to Sarah (Adam) Stoler and Christopher "Chris" Goodrow, a caring stepfather to Carie (James) DeCraene, Brian Borchardt, and Nicole (James) Newcomer, and a doting grandfather to three grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. His siblings, Bridget (Mike) Blodgett, David (Jody) Goodrow, and Karen (Bob) Balley, along with numerous nieces and nephews, will fondly remember Fred's jovial spirit and the joy he brought to family gatherings.

An avid fisherman, Fred participated in many tournaments, sharing his love for the sport with friends and family. His tales of the one that got away and the ones that will be retold and cherished by those who were lucky enough to accompany him on his fishing adventures. When he wasn't on the water or the golf course, Fred could often be found enjoying time with his family and friends, sharing an occasional Budweiser and a good laugh.

Fred's legacy is one of warmth, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to his loved ones. He was the kind of man who could fix anything, tell a joke that would light up a room, and make friends wherever he went. His presence will be deeply missed, but the memories he created will continue to bring smiles to the faces of those who knew him.

As we say farewell to Fredrick L. Goodrow III, we celebrate a life well-lived, full of moments that will be treasured forever. His story is one of love, family, and friendship-a story that will be told for generations to come.
