Mildred Daniel, affectionately as Marie Daniel, passed away on August 7, 2024, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, leaving behind a legacy of love, and cherished memories. She was born on October 4, 1937, in Cumming, Georgia.
She worked as a nursing assistant for Medical Arts in her younger years. Mildred was a dedicated homemaker, finding joy in caring for her family and creating a warm and welcoming home for all who entered. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family, as she valued time spent with her friends and family members dearly. She knew how to have fun with loved ones, creating countless precious memories that will be treasured.
Described as a loving mother and grandmother, Mildred's smile and caring nature touched the hearts of all who knew her. Her family was her pride and joy, and she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to their well-being and happiness. Mildred's presence brought comfort and joy to those around her, making every moment spent in her company a special one.
Mildred was deeply committed to her faith and found great fulfillment in her membership at Cave Springs Baptist Church in Pendergrass, Georgia. Her devotion to worshipping regularly and serving others with kindness was a testament to her unwavering belief and compassionate nature.
The family would like to express special thanks to Mildred's special friends Larry and Katie Grizzle and family who provided many years of care and friendship.
In her passing, Mildred is reunited with her beloved husband, Dan Daniel, who was her partner in life's journey. She is also preceded in death by her son, David Daniel, and son Eddie Daniel. Mildred is survived by her loving children: Danny (Dale) Daniel, James (Tonya) Daniel, Rita (Danny) Geyer, Ann (Steve) Spurrier, and Melita (Shaun) Jenkins, and seventeen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild whom she loved with all her heart.
Mildred's legacy will live on through the lives she touched and the memories she created. Her genuine love and immeasurable kindness will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
As Mildred Daniel's journey on earth comes to a close, her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to be a part of her life. May she rest in peace, knowing that she was loved deeply and will never be forgotten.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Monday, August 12, 2024 at Cave Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Chad Rising officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 4-7 pm Sunday, August 11, 2024 at the funeral home.
