Mildred Davis Obituary

Mildred Ann Davis, 92, of Colusa, CA, passed away on July 28, 2024. Mildred was born in Arbuckle, CA, to William (Bill) and Georgia Huttman on August 20, 1931.

They soon moved to Colusa, CA, where Mildred attended Our Lady of Lords Catholic School and then attended and graduated from Colusa High School in 1950.

Mildred's yearbook states, "Sing away sorrow and cast away care…, the little girl with the big voice. "Song Bird of the Class" is only one of her achievements.

Her many contributions to the various shows and carnivals have been received with heart felt thanks. Mildred also was a member of the "Girl's Piano Club".

Mildred married Joseph F. Davis (Colusa) in 1950. Mildred had two Children, Steven F.
Davis, Sr. (Colusa) and Cynthia Davis, who passed away before Mildred in 2010 (Colusa). She also had the following grandchildren; Jeremy and Christina Davis (Louisville, KY), Joshua and Jessica Davis (Tucson, AZ) and Steven Jr. and Amanda Davis (Colusa). Mildred also had 16 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Mildred was a well-known member of the community, working at Davision Drug (Book Keeping and Clerking), Colusa Drug (Book Keeping and Clerking) and Rite Aid (Pharmacy).

The family is following the wishes of Mildred for Graveside Services with close family only to be buried along side of Her Parents and Daughter.

She had a Love for Life and for her many Friends in the Community.
