Mildred Decuir Obituary
She was born on February 20,1929 in Lafayette, LA. Mildred is survived by her devoted husband Alvin of 75 years, and her four daughters; Althea (Stephen) Lange, Michelle Posey, Adrienne (Harvey) Honore, Mary (David) Magana; ten grandchildren, Brian (Ylaine) Lange, Christopher (Nisha) Lange, Michael (Nicole) Lange, Jerod (Erin) Posey, Jamie (Manuel) Rivera, Harvey III (Lainey) Honore, Aaron (Mary) Honore, Paige (Lance) Roberts, Victoria (Matthew) Akers, Trevor Magana, and twenty one beautiful great grandchildren with another one on the way.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, Hilaire and Barbara Juge, seven siblings, son-in-law Bruce Posey, and many extended family members.
She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Mildred was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She touched many lives with her love and incredible kindness.
As sad as it is to lose her, and as much as she will be missed, she prepared her whole life to see the face of Jesus. Our peace comes from knowing she is finally wrapped in the loving arms of our Lord in heaven.
Memorial services to be held on Monday, September 29th at Holy Spirit Catholic Church: 17270 Ward St., Fountain Valley CA 92708. Rosary and viewing at 10:30am. Catholic mass at 11:30am.
