Mildred M. Mick

1924 - 2025

Mildred M. Mick, 100, a resident of Mt. Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield, passed away Monday, Sept. 15, 2025.

Born on Oct. 12, 1924 in Houtzdale, she was a daughter of the late Thomas W. and Leona A. (Panzak) Kasubick.

Mildred first married Joseph Patkalitsky, who passed away in 1982. Her second marriage was to Milton Mick, who preceded her in death on May 29, 2008.

Mildred was a 1942 graduate of the Woodward Township High School and had attended Madera United Methodist Church in the past.

Mildred enjoyed life to the fullest and was a good friend to many. She loved her family and friends dearly.

Mildred is survived by two sons: Joe Patkalitsky (Carol) and John Patkalitsky (Paulette); two daughters, Marsha Buchanan, and Vickie Russino; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Mildred was the last of her generation. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Francine Christoff; a brother, Sylvester Kasubick; three sisters, Dorothy Welch, Eleanor Sinclair and Mary Evic; and a grandson, Andrew Gulich.

A funeral service will be held at Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Madera, on Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bob Ford officiating. Interment will be in the IOOF Cemetery, Brisbin. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.
