Mildred "Midge" Baker Obituary

Midge Baker departed this world on August 18, 2025 at Allegheny General Hospital. She graced this earth on August 4, 1939 in Akron, Ohio. Midge is a graduate of Hickory High School class of 1957 in Hickory, Pennsylvania. She later pursued a degree in English from California University of Pennsylvania.

Midge's professional journey was marked by her role with the Drug Enforcement Administration where she lived and worked in Cairo, Egypt for six years.

Midge is survived by her three children - daughters Janice Baker and Marcia Johnston and her son Keith Baker. Five grandchildren - Kevin Walker, Justin DeBarr, Jason Walker, Kaylyn Baker, and Reese Baker. And also six great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life for Midge will be held on Thursday September 11, 2025 at the South Franklin Township building from 3 pm until 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wake Up Narcolepsy at www.wakeupnarcolepsy.org or the ASPCA.
