Mildred Mimbs Obituary
Mildred, born in Dodge County, had lived in Hawkinsville before moving to Cochran in 1973. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Jetson "Joe" and Louise Wright Smith and was preceded in death by her grandson, Dylan Keith Cannon, her sisters, Lillian Mullis and Betty Cromer and her brother, Harold Smith. Mildred was a beloved waitress at Scott's Barbecue in Cochran. She was baptized at First Baptist Church in Hawkinsville and attended Bethany Baptist Church and Salem Baptist Church, both in Cochran.
Survivors are her husband, Neal Mimbs of Cochran; her children, Daphne (Randy) Cannon and Patrick (Julie) Mimbs, all of Cochran; her grandchildren, Madison Cannon, Shayne Cannon, Abagail Mimbs, Henry Mimbs and Brooklynn (Jason) McDowell; her great grandchild, Willow Mimbs; her brothers, James Smith and Wesley Smith both of Cochran; several nieces and nephews.
