Mildred Ruth "Aunt Jack" Moman, age 99, of Albertville, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024. She was born on May 14, 1924, to the late J.L. "Dick" Moman, Sr. and Nadine Washington Moman. Aunt Jack dedicated over 33 years of her life in service to BellSouth, where she made a significant impact with her dedication and hard work.
Known for her serving heart, Aunt Jack always prioritized the needs of others above herself. Her selflessness and compassion endeared her to those around her, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. Her legacy of kindness and generosity will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Aunt Jack is survived by her brother, Edwin E. (Loretta) Moman; nieces and nephews, John (Shannon) Moman, Danny (Carol) Moman, Tina C. Moman, Tim Moman, Eddie Moman, Alan (Kristal) Moman, Beth (Kevin) Shaver; sister-in-law, Sue Moman; and a host of great nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, J.L. "Bud" (Sue) Moman, Jr., Harold G. (Olene) Moman, Bill Moman, and Fred W. (Syble) Moman.
A graveside service to celebrate Aunt Jack's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Mt. High Cemetery, Albertville with Bro. Larry Walls, officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Chattahoochee Hospice, 6 Medical Park North, Valley, AL 36854.
In this time of grief, let us remember Mildred Ruth "Aunt Jack" Moman for the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the enduring impact of her selfless spirit. May she rest in peace.
