Mildred Baker Pfantz, age 98, passed away peacefully on Sept. 2, 2025 in Brandon, Florida.

Born in Owens Crossroads, Alabama, to Charlie and Annie Baker. Millie grew up a fiercely independent person, raising her sons and later, stepsons, proudly and efficiently as a military spouse.

Millie met Bob, the love of her life, in Nashville, Tennessee, eventually settling in Brandon, Florida, where she resided over 50 years. They spent many happy years square dancing and traveling in their latest RV throughout the country.
Millie loved challenging jigsaw puzzles, romance novels and Hallmark Channel movies.

Millie was a loyal and loving mother and MamMaw to her large family, never forgetting a birthday. Deeply faithful, she now rests in peace in the arms of her Lord.
Millie is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Pfantz, parents, and sons Gene, Jim, and William Pfantz.

She is survived by sons Gary (Jana) and Michael (Kandie) Hill; sister Martha La Farlett; grandchildren and great-grandchildren Cerise Kattell, Melissa, Nick, Brett (Jacqueline), Chris, Emery and Beau Hill; Corey (Jamie), Kyle (Mallory), Jimmy, Gage, Kellen and Kassidy Pfantz; Ryan, and Reese Kattell.

Services will be held Monday, Sept. 15th, 11am at St. Stephen Catholic Church, Riverview Florida.
Burial will occur afterward, 1:30pm, at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
