    Mildred Jean Phillips Stratton, age 72, passed away February 14, 2025, at Pikeville Medical Center.  She was born December 23, 1952 to the late Millard and Margil Branham Adkins.  She was a retired clerk for Southeast Telephone.  She was a member of MADD and of the Freewill Baptist Faith.  

    Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Wayne Phillips, one son Michael Brian Phillips and one granddaughter, Jerica Rose. 

    She is survived by one daughter Tina Renee (Robert) Phillips Turner, two sons, Bobby Wayne Phillips, Brody Keith (Brittany) Stratton, one brother James (Sandie) May, five sisters, Jackie Jenkins, Debi (Randy) Otermat, Kathi Joseph, Bobbi Jo Adkins, Tami (Terry) Coleman, five grandchildren, Telisha Nicole (Ryan) Prater, Lakin Renee Rose, Mika Breann Rose, Dalton Wayne (Cheyenne) Tackett, Houston Keith Stratton, four great-grandchildren, Tayden Crew Prater, Emersyn Ryan Prater, Avery Levi Tackett, Vivian Edith Jean Tackett.

    Visitation will be Monday February 17, 2025 and Tuesday February 18, 2025 beginning at 6:00 PM with church service at 7:00 PM nightly at Lucas and Son Funeral Home.  Funeral services Wednesday February 19, 2025 beginning at 1:00 Pm at Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Chris Bartley, Greg Goins, Tommy England, and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Phillips Family Cemetery, Bowling Fork.
