Mildred Alice Roberts was born February 24th, 1939, in the rural area of Sasakwa, OK. She grew up in that area, graduated from Vamoosa High School, May 10, 1956. She died on September 4th, 2025, peacefully at home.

She was preceded in death by her husband George Douglas Roberts; her parents, William and Nancy Cooley; her son Jimmy Roberts; her brothers, Jerry Cooley, James Cooley, Rex Cooley, and Bill Cooley; her sister-in-law, Lois Cooley; and her in-laws, Helen Estelle Waldron and Roy Roberts.

Mildred married George Roberts on May 17th, 1956. He was in the Marine Corp, and they spent 20 years in the service and traveled to a lot of places. They had three children: Greg, Jimmy, and Cynthia. As well as many grandkids, great-grandkids, and great-great-grandkids.

She is survived by her two children, Greg Roberts and Cynthia Roberts; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Harrell Cemetery (checks made out to Harrell Cemetery Association and sent to Palmer Marler Funeral Home) or to the American Cancer Society in honor of Mildred.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Palmer Marler Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 2:00 pm in the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel.
