Mildred D. Williams ObituaryMILDRED D. WILLIAMS, 76 of Dallastown, PA, passed away in the early hours on Monday, November 18, 2024. Married for nearly 48 years at the time of his death, she was the beloved wife of Joseph Earl Williams, Jr. who died in September 2023. Mildred was a dedicated wife, caring for her husband for over 20 years in their home.
Born on December 13, 1947 in York County, PA, she was a daughter of the late Ray Smith Bond and Mary Ellen Elizabeth (Stermer) Bond. Having a strong faith in God, Mildred enjoyed being kind to others. She was always there to help someone in need and tried to live her life as an example of a caring and loving woman. She attended Tabernacle Baptist Church in Brogue, PA. She enjoyed playing Bingo and her family commented that she was the "Rock" of their family. Her kind heart and loving spirit will be missed.
She is survived by:
Two daughters-
Tamy Campbell and her husband, Jason
Shari Williams
Four granddaughters-Tristan Wilson, Amanda Dickason, Meghan Campbell and Vanessa Bond
Three grandsons-Joseph Williams, Russell Keech and Tyler Bond
Two great granddaughters-Everly and Josie Wilson
She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Williams, III and a brother, Larry Bond.
Services will be held in Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA on Thursday, November 21, 2024 with a visitation with her family from noon until 1 p.m. when the funeral service will begin. Her minister, Pastor John Waltermyer will officiate. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband in Bryansville Cemetery, Delta, PA.
Her family would appreciate memorial contributions to Tabernacle Baptist Church, c/o Pastor John, 144 Tomlinson Road, Airville, PA 17302.
