Mildred Ellen "Millie" Zachgo

Mildred Ellen Zachgo, 90, of Winchester VA, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at Hilltop House Assisted Living.
Millie was born in 1935 in Woodstock, VA, the daughter of the late Clyde and Lola Wilson. She worked for 18 years as Office Manager at Nichols in Winchester and retired from Zachgo's Outdoor Power Equipment of Winchester. Millie was a member of Mountain View Church of Christ and Ocala Christian Church in Ocala, FL. She loved her church and her church family and sharing the word of God. Millie especially loved spending time with her family, friends and her dogs. Millie will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
She married Raymond Clifford Zachgo in Winchester, VA on May 3, 1953.
Millie is survived by her husband, Raymond; sons, Carl Lynn Zachgo (Sandy), Gary Allen Zachgo, Glen Raymond Zachgo (Christine); grandchildren, Angel, Austin, Darrin, Douglas and Dustin; great-grandchildren, Logan, Karlee, Keith, Araceli, Piper, Knox, Annabelle and Iris; sister, Betty Welch and her brothers, Freddy Wilson (Beth) and Larry Wilson.
In addition to her parents, Millie is preceded in death by her brothers, James and Donnie Wilson and previous wife of son, Glen, Sherry Lynn Zachgo who was like a daughter to her.
A visitation will be held for Millie on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 2pm with a service to follow at 3pm at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
