Mildred Zenner Obituary
Mildred M. Zenner, 87, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 7, 2024.
Millie was born in Akron on March 29, 1936 to the late George and Josephine Jakubisin. She married Frederick Zenner in 1958 and raised 3 children together. Millie enjoyed cooking and sewing. She was a longtime member of St. John the Baptist church, the Jednota 553, Slovak Catholic Sokol #43 and the Firestone Park Prime Timers. Millie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Millie was preceded in death by her husband Frederick; daughter Elizabeth Ann; granddaughter Sarah Woodard; and sister Ann Doherty. She is survived by her children Frederick G. (Beverly) and Stephen L. Zenner; grandchildren Cassandra (Steve) Conley, Nikki (Ray) Smalley, Sara Warner and Danah Zenner; and 7 great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM on Wednesday, January 17 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1034 Brown St in Akron where the family will receive friends beginning at 9AM. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
