Funeral Service for Miles R. Anacker, age 62, of Fairmont, MN, will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Shepherd of the Lakes Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fairmont with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Darfur, MN. Miles passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Seasons Health Care Center in Trimont, MN. The Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.
Miles Ray Anacker was born on January 30, 1963, in Comfrey, MN. He was the son of Alfred and Wilma (Wolle) Anacker. Miles and his twin sister, Marlene, were baptized on January 30, 1963, in the hospital by Rev. Alvin R. Keinitz of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church of Darfur, MN. Miles later was confirmed on May 14, 1978. Miles attended Mountain Lake public schools and graduated from Mountain Lake High School in 1982.
After graduation, Miles spent some time with his sister, Gale Friesen, and her family in Loveland, CO. After returning home, he worked with Kamolz Construction of Comfrey and then several other jobs such as Bonnie's Café, Butterfield Foods, Weigh-Tronix in Fairmont, and Custom Foods in Fairmont. At present he was unemployed. Miles enjoyed being with friends and family, going to the movies, going out to eat, and watching wrestling on TV. He most loved driving his car.
Left to cherish his memory include his siblings, Richard (Diana) Anacker of Comfrey, MN, Linda Southworth of Isle, MN, Gale (Stan) Friesen of Windsor, CO, and Marlene (Larry) Peters of Darfur, MN; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends; and special friend, JoAnn.
Along with his parents, Alfred and Wilma, Miles was preceded in death by his brother, Wesley; brother, Dale in infancy; and brother-in-law, Dick Southworth.
