Miles "Atlas" Everett Foglesong Jr., 88, of Paducah passed away at 5:45 PM on Monday, May 13, 2024 at his residence.
Mr. Foglesong was a Veteran of the Air Force, of the Baptist faith. Miles started Atlas Roofing in the mid-60s to provide for his family, He ran a successful company until turning it over to his son (Mark) in the mid-80s who continues the company today. He continued to work for the company. He loved his kids, grandkids, all his family. He enjoyed playing Zelda and crash bandicoot video games.
He is survived by three sons, Mark (Paula) Foglesong, James (Cathy) Ester, Larry Foglesong; three daughters, Penny Neihoff, Beth (Thomas) Timmons, Shawna Foglesong; three sisters, Janet (Jerry) Bradley, Janice McKinney, Yvonne (Robert) Huennekens; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by both parents, Lucille and James McGregor; first wife, Meda Mae Eggner; second wife, Janice Marie Denton; two daughters, Cindy Foglesong, Karen Foglesong; two brothers, David Foglesong, Donald Foglesong.
Graveside services with full military honors will begin at 1:30 PM on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Fooks Cemetery in Possum Trot with Rev. Larry Davidson officiating.
There will be no visitation.
