Millard Lewis Claypoole, 65 of Nepton, Kentucky passed away Sunday, November 16, 2025, at the home of his sister in Flemingsburg, Kentucky.
Born July 20, 1960, in Maysville, Kentucky a son of the late Claude Claypoole and Blanche Brown Claypoole.
Millard was kind and considerate and was known for always willing to help. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and enjoyed playing the Kentucky Lottery, most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was also a farmer, and also a tree trimmer and logger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Claudia Hunt and Edith Kay Earls: brothers-in-law, Gayle Colgan and Terry Hunt.
Survivors include, one sister, Marilynn Colgan of Flemingsburg, Kentucky; nephew, Chad Colgan of Lexington, Kentucky; niece, Donna Weaver (Bobby) of Elizaville, Kentucky; great nieces, Brittany (Seth) Greenhill, Kaitlyn Weaver (Adam David) and Rebekah (Nick Mouser); brother in law, Terry Earls of Flemingsburg; uncle Lewis "Sy" Brown (Scottie) of Nepton, Kentucky; also several other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Thursday, November 20, 2025, in the chapel of the Price Brothers Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Grimes officiating.
Millard will be laid to rest next to his parents in the Elizaville Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M till the hour of service at the funeral home.
Casket bearers will be Richie Gray, John Mers, Chopper Pollock, Danny Moran, Johnny Wallingford, and Randy Fryman.
Honorary casket bears will be Sy Brown, Bobby Weaver, Chad Colgan, Terry Earls, Jarrod Darnell, and Tommy Mers.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of Hope.
