Millie Bump Obituary
Funeral service for Millie Marie Norman Bump of Jonesville will begin at 2:00pm on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at the Wesley Chapel of Simmesport. Burial will follow at the Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Simmesport.
Millie, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at her home in Jonesville.
Those left to cherish her memory are a host of nieces and nephews; her uncle, Jack Bryan; and extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Guy Norman and Hattie Inez Bryan Swayze; sisters, Irma Lee Strong, Vera Jo Norman Brouillette, and Jo Etta Norman; brother, Billy Morace, Sr.; and step-father, Boatner Swayze.
Visitation will begin at 12:00pm until time of service on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at the Wesley Chapel in Simmesport.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Escude Funeral Home (318-964-2324) 625 Main St. Simmesport, LA 71369.
