DEHART, Milo "Mike" Eugene – of Holt, formerly of Crystal, age 79, died Friday, July 25, 2025 at McLaren Lansing. Honoring Mike's wishes cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service with military honors will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Crystal Township Cemetery.
Mike was born June 16, 1946 in Sheridan, Michigan to the late Milo and Ila (Gould) DeHart. He grew up in Crystal and graduated from Central Montcalm High School with the class of 1965. Mike proudly served his country in the US Army from 1966 to 1968 where he served in the 4th Battalion 54th Infantry Regiment in Vietnam. He loved playing softball in the area leagues and tournaments. Mike never met a stranger and enjoyed reminiscing about his younger years with all his friends in the Crystal area. He worked for Layne Northern Well Drilling for several years.
Surviving are: Daughters, Lisa (Norm) Smith, Holly (Matt) Stevens; Grandchildren, Kristin (George Kellams) Kilduff, Ryan (Kelsey) Jones, Gavin Stevens, Seth (Maria) Smith; Great Grandchildren, Macy Kilduff, Nolan Smith, Jack Smith, Malia Kellams; Mother of his Children, Vivian (Mike) Lewis; Nephews, Greg DeHart, Terry DeHart. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Brother, Robert "Bud" (Sharon) DeHart. Please sign our guestbook or share an online condolence with the family at www.oguinnfh.com.
