Milton L. Bradley, 91 year old Woodward resident, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025 in Elk City. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 18, 2025 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Donnetta Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery. Full military rites will be conducted by the United States Navy.
Milton Laverne Bradley was born on September 7, 1933 in Farley, Iowa; he was the son of Chester and Alton (Denlinger) Bradley. Milton grew up in Manchester, Iowa and graduated from Manchester High School. He later received his degree in Risk Management at Pikes Peak State College. Milton was inducted into the United States Navy in 1951. He served his country during the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He served his country honorably until his retirement in the early 1970's. He was united in marriage to Mary Jeanette Randall on July 9, 1971 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They made their first home in Anaheim, California. Milton and Mary lived in several places including: Scottsdale, Arizona and Colorado Springs, Colorado before moving to Woodward and making it their adopted home. Milton worked as a First responder all of his life.
He enjoyed bowling and playing games, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his sons: Don Bradley and wife Lori of Woodward, Brian Bradley and wife Norma of Washington, Jeff Bradley of California; one daughter Susan McCormick of Washington; grandchildren: Melissa Bradley and husband Danny of Washington, Jessica Bradley and husband Uwe of Germany, Heather McCormick of Washington, Krista McCormick of Washington, Sonia Bradley of California; two sisters, Velma Kuehl and husband Kenny of Iowa, Linda Ohl of Iowa; other relatives and friends.
Milton was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Alton Bradley, his beloved wife Mary Bradley in 2009, brother Carlyn Bradley and two sisters, Marlene Fulton and Luetta DeTimmerman.
