Milton Gainor was born July 19, 1950 in Sumter, County, Georgia to the late C. W. Williams And Janie Ruth Gainer. He was raised by his grandmother the late Burda L. Goshay until he was 6 years old. He was educated in the Dougherty county Public School System, later going on to receive his GED. He was employed at General tire where he worked for many years and retired. He was joined in holy matrimony to Tammy Canty Gainor who proceeded him in death. Bro. Gainor was a faithful member of US 19 Church Of Christ having been added to the church on May 13, 2012 under the leadership of Bro. Jesse Jackson, Sr. He enjoyed hanging with family and friends. He often loved to hang out on Clark Avenue at Ronnie's BBQ Stand. His sister Diana would always call on him to ride and do stuff with her. They were like two peas in a pod. After church on Sundays you could always find him at his sister-in-law's house Harriett feasting on her delicious soulfood meals. When he needed an answer to any question or advice he would always call on his baby brother, Curtis who he believed he could save the world. Milton was always a quiet man but had so much life and a big heart. He loved his grandchildren and would always say I'm saving all my coins for my grandkids Christmas. Following a protracted illness, Bro. Milton departed this life on July 24, 2025. Along with his parents, grandmother, and his wife he was also preceded in death by one daughter, Shavone Childs; and one brother, Sam Gainer. Milton leaves behind a loving companion and friend, Emma Akins; his 4 children, Milton Dwayne Gainer, Tamika Mike (Kenneth), Roderick Gainer, and Terrill Cutts (Latrasha); 5 grandchildren, Trenise, Brooklyn, Tyquan, Tywuan, Keasia, Tikeria, Chasity, Lacoria, and Jada; 3 siblings, Diana Goseer, Yvonne Gainer, and Curtis Gainer (Nancy); one aunt, Jennie Wells; a special devoted niece and caregiver, Tabitha Mackey (Derick); and host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
