Milton Hugh Hollingsworth, 86, of Kilgore, went to be home with his heavenly father on October 8, 2025. Milton was born in McGregor, Texas on June 2, 1939 to Hugh Albert and Eunice Tarpley Hollingsworth.
Mr. Hollingsworth attended Carter High School in Haltom City, Texas and was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked with the oilfield as a parts specialist. Milton's favorite hobbies were to paint, playing golf, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carole Doerge Hollingsworth; brother, Jim Hollingsworth, and wife Marie; brother-in-law, Watson Doerge and his wife, Bobbie.
He is survived by his son, Edward "Trey" Hollingsworth and wife Michele; grandchildren, Angela Newton(TJ), Virginia McVay(David), Colton Plunket(Amy), Allyson Sparling. Ten great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family.
The family would like to thank Chambers Hospice for their special love, attention and care during his last few days. Special thanks to Nova for taking such good care of Dad.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
