It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Milton Ray Taylor Sr., March 25, 2026, just shy of his 79th birthday. Born March 29, 1947, in Albuquerque, NM, Milton spent much of his life singing and playing guitar, loving time with his family, and pouring concrete at many of the places we all visit and know. Milton never met a person he wouldn’t talk to. He served in the United States Army from 1966-1969. He enjoyed volunteering at hospitals, food banks, nursing homes and church. He was a member of Selden Baptist Church, loving the Lord, loving music and teaching others how to play.
Milton will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Linda Taylor, and their 5 children. He was a proud Papa to 18 grandchildren and a cherished Papa to 11 great grandchildren.
Milton was preceded in death by Father Travis Taylor, Mother Minnie Taylor, Brother Clinton, Sisters Oletia and Martha, and son Bradley.
In honor of Milton’s life, family and friends will gather for a memorial service held at Selden Baptist Church, Monday March 30 at 11am.
