Mina Arlene Lashley

1934 - 2025

Mina Arlene Lashley (Jones) came into our world on March 23, 1934. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and moved across the country to California, where she met her forever love, Amos. Amos was in the military at the time of their meeting and they were married on April 1, 1955. They spent 57 wonderful years together creating memories with their growing family and their friends.
Mina left this world on August 3, 2025, at the age of 91. Although she is no longer with us, she will always be remembered for her loving, strong heart and her fiery spirit.
Throughout her life, Mina was known for having a welcoming home where there were always gatherings of friends and family and enough home cooked meals to feed a small army, and bringing joy to everyone involved. She was creative, painting beautiful pictures, crocheting new blankets for her future grandchildren, telling compelling stories that drew everyone in, and humming a tune to a song that she made up while enjoying sweeping her patio.
She was an amazing mother to her four children, Craig, Karen, Kimberley and Kellie, who grew up with her love that turned them into the incredible people they are today. Through her faith, she believed she would one day be with her Amos again, and be in an everlasting paradise earth.
Mina was survived by her children, as well as their spouses who were also considered her children: Craig and Renee Lashley, Karen Esparza, Kimberley and Bob Harker, and Kellie and Preston Hill. Her children gifted her eight grandchildren, who also gave her 13 great-grandchildren so far.
Until her passing, Mina was surrounded by the people who grew to endear her and by those who have always loved her. She was the strong-willed, loving, caring woman till the very end. Mina will forever be remembered and missed.
