Mindi Munz Obituary

Mindi Munz, 48, of Bellefontaine, passed away early Monday morning, September 18, 2023, at her residence.

She was born on August 14, 1975, in Bellefontaine, Ohio, the daughter of the late Robert “Butch” Munz and Billie J. Munz, who survives. 

She is also survived by a sister, Molli M. Munz (Amy), a niece, Maci Munz, and a nephew, Maverick Munz, two aunts, Bonnie Vermillion, and Carola Munz, and several cousins.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Kristen.

Mindi graduated from Bellefontaine High School where she played tennis, basketball, and softball.  She went to work at Honda of America upon graduation and was employed there in the office for 27 years.  She loved her Bellefontaine roots and had many friends from high school who were by her side through her cancer battle including stays at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Logan Acres Care Center and nearly five months of hospice care.

Visitation will be on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 10 to 1 p.m. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main St., Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311.  A private family prayer service will follow with Pastor Jim Ellington.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for memorial contributions to be made in Mindi's memory to Universal Home Health & Hospice, 921 Rush Avenue, Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311.
