Minelly Namnum was born on December 21, 1959 in the Dominican Republic. She was born and raised in the lovely small town of San Francisco de Macoris. She moved to New York City with her husband and kids. New York was home for her. She loved the city life and had great memories raising her family.
Florida became her home later on as she lived in Miami for over 30 years. Florida was a true calling for Nelly, this is where she really shined! She was able to care for her kids and help them grow. She raised them to become very successful men with loving families. Nelly was just so caring and loving as she provided all the love and support that they could ask for. And when somebody would visit her in Miami, she would greet them with open arms.
Nelly loved spending time with her family. One of her greatest joys was to care for her kids and her husband, along with every family member that would come visit her. Nelly was so kind, so loving and selfless. She would put her heart into anything that she did when it came to taking care of her family. This was demonstrated mostly when it came to cooking. As Nelly was one of the best cooks ever to live! Friends and family would come from all over and just love to show up in Nelly's house because they knew they would be received with loving arms and especially with some very delicious cooking. This was one of her greatest passions.
Nelly passed away on the morning of July 23 at the age of 62 with her loving family by her side. She is survived by her husband Daniel, her two children Danny and Virgilio, her two daughters Cindya and Natalia and her four grandchildren Valentina, Zoe, Noah and Dylan.
She will be greatly missed by everyone's life that she touched.
