Minerva Ongoco Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bosak Funeral Home - Stamford on Aug. 5, 2023.
In Loving Memory of Minerva Ongoco
She was a beloved wife to Cesar, a loving and devoted mother to Julianne, Joshua, and a grandmother to Arianne and Nyla. Minerva has always been the pillar of strength, resilience, and an eternal source of love, not just to her family but to allthe lives that she had touched. One word that describes her best is, selfless. Through her battles in life and her sickness, she managed to bring light to everyone around her.
Born on October 26, 1966, Minerva is the second daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Inocensio and Yolanda Celoso along with her two other sisters Melanie and Melody. Coming from her humble beginnings in the Philippines, she came to the US with the main aspiration of reuniting her family.
Being a true testament to her devotion to her family and community, Minerva has been at the forefront of spreading the love and generosity of Jesus' teaching of true selflessness. She is an active member of Falconn Organization and Knight of Rizal FCWBLadies (KOR). She was also a faithful member of Landmark Baptist Church.
As a loving mother, she raised and taught her children to be strong, independent, and live life without regrets. She showed unconditional love to Julianne and Joshua. Her main priority and accomplishment in life was the family that she built. She took pride in how she raised her daughter and son as they chart out their own journey in life. Even as her battle with cancer was coming to an end, she was always present and very involved with raising her granddaughters.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at Bosak Funeral Home on 453 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, CT from 1pm - 5pm with a Prayer Service from 3pm - 4pm with Pastor Massa. Repast Service will follow at Landmark Baptist Church at 66 Crescent St., Stamford, CT from 6 pm onwards.
